In 6 weeks we start the creation of a mural at the Walden Rehab in Concord MA.
3.5 years ago I promised director Margarete Donaghue I would create a mural for her residents.

Materials List: Instructor will work with students to select paints/colors and tools required for final mural design.
This class benefits THE STUDENTS in many ways:
- Learn Drawing, Painting and Design Skills
- Work collaboratively with a team to brainstorm concept and design a finished project
- Participate in a lasting community service gift

This mural benefits the WALDEN REHAB COMMUNITY in many ways:
- Enjoying the process of watching the artists paint the mural
- Some may participate in the creation with our team
- The lasting beauty will bring the countryside indoors
- Visitors and family members appreciate aesthetic improvements

Chesterwood is now accepting proposals for Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood 2011.
Dear Friends,
Chesterwood is now accepting proposals for Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood 2011. This year’s guest curator is Bruce Weber, Senior Curator of 19th and Early 20th Century Art at the National Academy Museum in New York, NY. Daniel Chester French was an Academician of the National Academy from 1900 until his death in 1931.
I hope that you will take a moment to apply for this year’s exhibition or, if you are not a sculptor yourself, forward this letter to any artists who might be interested in applying. Please note that all applications must be postmarked by Monday, February 28, 2011.

Design/Build Bittersweet and Bluestone
