Chesterwood is now accepting proposals for Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood 2011.

Dear Friends,

Chesterwood is now accepting proposals for Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood 2011.  This year’s guest curator is Bruce Weber, Senior Curator of 19th and Early 20th Century Art at the National Academy Museum in New York, NY.  Daniel Chester French was an Academician of the National Academy from 1900 until his death in 1931.

I hope that you will take a moment to apply for this year’s exhibition or, if you are not a sculptor yourself, forward this letter to any artists who might be interested in applying.  Please note that all applications must be postmarked by Monday, February 28, 2011.
If you have any questions, comments or cannot open the application materials posted online and below, please contact Anne Cathcart, Curatorial Assistant, at 413-298-3579, ext. 25216, or Anne_Cathcart@nthp.org
Regardless of whether you choose to apply or forward this information, I hope to see you at Chesterwood this year.  Thank you!

Sincerely,
Donna Hassler
Director
